There was even a scene where they went golfing together which made me so happy (I played golf in college). We only get the heroine's perspective, so it was fun to try to figure out what was going on with the hero. Sampling all the wonders of the never-ending feast may be the hardest thing to accomplish during my two weeks on the island. Likely a welcome reprieve during the blistering hot days, but now with the sun gone, it feels a bit chilly.It’s been months since I felt this geared up, since my surroundings were a source of inspiration instead of frustration. Thank goodness no staff saw that disaster, or they’d have been here with extra towels and kind smiles, and I would have felt even worse. This trip is my first time out of the country, if one doesn’t count the road trips from my home in Washington State to Vancouver, Canada, and I don’t. What was great to read about was the way this book placed self-discovery and finding oneself at the forefront of this.while i wish we had a dual POV for philip, i still liked the way he flew out to washington and wrote what he did in his postcard 😭 i really really enjoyed this and i will definitely be reading more of this authors books!
