Fujifilm has gobbled up more and more of the marketshare due mostly to their versatile line of quality lenses. Through subsequent firmware updates, Fuji has combatted the loud 'chatter' of this lens when shooting on a mode that requires the aperture to stop down to meter your exposure (so anything not manual or aperture priority). It pretty much stays glued to my Fuji X-E1, making it a very powerful combo for my everyday photography needs.isn’t the first 35mm lens I’ve owned (we’ll get on to that) but I am well and truly ‘used’ to this focal length now. Featuring an all-glass aspherical lens and other elements, the lens is polished to perfection and treated with Super EBC coating while the high-quality metal barrel and precision-machined 1/3-step aperture ring gives versatile control. The hood does an excellent job of mitigating flare without obstructing the OVF like some of the large petal hoods do. As you can see, there are some issues with some CA, some fringing, but the images have a very nice pop to them and they feel like they just have a ton of detail with great tonality and sharpness.
