The Molten logo reduction of 25% has the dual benefit of showcasing more of the ball, as well as creating an increased grip area. The new style of colour in matte finish has also been extensively tested, and the improved colour contrast has been proven to give better visibility too. From the moment we introduced the Molten BG3800 to our players, it was clear that this ball was a game-changer. Overall I think I actually prefer that older model - this one isn't as grippy even after just a couple of sessions on an outdoor court and I prefer the brighter orange, but it's still a great ball with a near perfect consistency to the bounce - but is for those who value the feel of a ball over the ability to grip it.
